Prices generated by our online estimating tool are indicative only. They are based on the rate card published on this website and on the information you provide, and they do not constitute a confirmed booking or a fixed price.

Every online estimate is reviewed by Sandy Grab Services before any work begins. A member of our team will contact you to confirm the material, quantity, access arrangements and final price. Estimates given over the phone are also indicative until confirmed in writing.

Estimates remain valid for [TO CONFIRM] days from the date they are issued. Prices may change where material costs, quantities, delivery distances or site conditions differ from those used to produce the estimate.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a booked slot are subject to a £100 cancellation fee.

Where a cancellation is made 24 hours or more before the booked slot, no cancellation fee applies. If our vehicle attends site and the delivery or collection cannot be completed for reasons within your control, for example unsuitable access or nobody available to receive the load, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation and the same fee may apply.

Charges for rescheduling a confirmed booking, and any abortive charges beyond the cancellation fee, are [TO CONFIRM].

You are responsible for ensuring safe and suitable vehicle access to the delivery or collection point. This includes adequate width and headroom, ground conditions capable of supporting a loaded lorry, and a clear, legal place for the vehicle to stand and to operate its equipment.

Please tell us in advance about restricted access, weight or width limits, overhead cables, soft ground, private roads or permit requirements. Our driver has final discretion on whether it is safe to proceed. If access is unsuitable on arrival, the load may be returned to the depot and charges may apply.

Sandy Grab Services is not responsible for damage to driveways, verges, kerbs, drains or private surfaces where the vehicle has been directed onto them at your request.

All prices are quoted excluding VAT unless stated otherwise, and VAT is charged at the prevailing rate.

Payment terms for account customers are [TO CONFIRM]. Payment terms for non-account and domestic customers are [TO CONFIRM], including whether payment is required before delivery.

Accepted payment methods are [TO CONFIRM]. Interest and charges on late payment are [TO CONFIRM].

Sandy Grab Services operates the Tempsford Soil Recovery Facility under EA Permit No: EPR/FP3025LT, issued and regulated by the Environment Agency. All waste we collect is processed, tracked and disposed of in full compliance with UK environmental law.

You must describe the waste accurately before collection. We cannot accept hazardous waste, asbestos, liquids, chemicals, gas cylinders, tyres, electrical items or clinical waste unless this has been agreed in advance in writing. Loads found to contain prohibited or misdescribed material may be rejected, and additional handling, sorting or disposal charges may apply.

Waste transfer documentation is provided for every collection and is available on request. Retaining this documentation is part of your own duty of care as a waste producer.

We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. Our liability for any claim arising from a delivery or collection is limited to [TO CONFIRM], and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit, loss of contract or delay costs, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Delivery and collection times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will keep you informed if a booked slot is affected by traffic, weather, plant breakdown or other circumstances outside our control.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
